A balloon ride is a breathtaking adventure and the memories will last a lifetime. The sensation, the views, and the freedom will never be forgotten. In the Louisville area we fly year round, weather permitting. We fly in the mornings after sunrise, and in the evenings prior to sunset.Your balloon ride will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour, with the entire adventure lasting about 3 hours. The balloon will fly as low as treetop level and to as high as 2,000 to 3,000 feet above the ground.

The balloon travels with the direction of the wind, therefore each flight launch site and landing area is different. The temperature in the balloon during the flight will vary 3 – 5 degrees from the ground temperature. Balloon rides cost $175 per person, and your flight will be a personal experience. The adventure ends with a complimentary Champagne (or sparkling grape juice) celebration, a ride certificate commerating the experience, and a lapel pin displaying your “Red Badge of Courage.”

*Soaring Adventures AND any non private riders (normal single or double certificates) are not guaranteed private rides, meaning that you could be paired with other riders with you in the balloon.  A "Private Ride for 2" can be purchased to guarantee that it will be a private-party experience with two passengers and one pilot in the balloon for the duration of the ride.
